As pioneer and master of the Modern, Otto Wagner seized the then rather new technique of bending Wood for his furniture designs.

Ocasionally These furniture are attributed to Koloman Moser as well.

The design of this Ensemble dated back in 1901. Especially the design of the armrests shows the adventure of the new technique.

Wagner first used the stool from this Ensemble for the 'Depeschenbüro Die Zeit'
